NHS Borders is the NHS service provider for the Scottish Borders.  It provides acute and primary care services from the Borders General Hospital, four community hospitals and a network of community and day facilities.  The Scottish Borders has a population of 109,730 across 1800 square miles and NHS Borders employs 3194 staff.
